FilteredSpace brings you NEW music through a discovery process never thought possible within a mobile application coupled with a look and feel that raises the bar for all mobile applications. FilteredSpace starts you off in your hometown and only delivers music in the genre’s you have chosen. FilteredSpace Geo Locates LIVE shows of your favorite music in your region. One tap, and all the concerts, in all the clubs, by all the artists that play the music you have chosen is displayed on a fully interactive map centered around your current location. NO MORE EMAILS TOUTING SHOWS FROM ARTISTS YOU DON’T KNOW, FROM CITIES FAR AWAY!

When you first open the application and put in very basic personal information (Name, age, gender, email address and zip code) you will receive 5 “featured acts” from the best artists in your region. Again, based solely on the genre’s you have chosen. Want to discover more past the featured acts? Just go to extras, tap bands and you will be presented with a list of all the artists within a 100 mile radius of your current location. But wait! What if you are following a band from a different city? When that artist books a show in your region, or posts a new song, FilteredSpace will notify you in your News Feed. Everything takes place inside FilteredSpace. FilteredSpace is a true Mobile only community, no promotional emails, or cluttered web sites! Just music discovery at its finest.

When you follow a band/comedian, your own private news feed will let you know when they have made a new song/video available in FilteredSpace, when they are playing a new show in YOUR area, or have added information to their BIO. Once you have installed the application we suggest that you follow the FilteredSpace profile first as we will be posting tips on our page regularly. Also, you may want to download the 2 hour FilteredSpace Radio show, “Fighting for Air™.” Fighting for Air will play music from all regions and report the goings on inside FilteredSpace.

Searching the music of different cities is as easy as typing that city in the search bar. Again, the search will only display the genres of music you have chosen.

When you go to a concert, or simply want to ask your friends if they want to go, hit “Check In” and post to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr simultaneously with one tap.
Within your own PRIVATE profile, FilteredSpace keeps a record of the shows you would like to attend, the gig posters of the shows you have attended and the artists you are following.

Not one artist, or music organization will have access to your contact information.

Music is delivered at bit rates up to 320k (mp3) so we recommend when playing music that you are utilizing public hot spots, or your own private WI-FI to keep data usage to a minimum. If you want the song, simply hit “download.” FilteredSpace is artist supported; meaning that the music you hear is what they want you to have…LEGALLY! When you download the application, your email address is used for the delivery of this music, AND NOTHING ELSE! Allowing you to play the music from whatever device you wish without eating up your data plan, or your devices storage!
